Adult Mount Pleasant Library cardholders in good standing may check out one Chromebook (with an optional hotspot) or one hotspot at a time. Reservations for devices may be made up to six weeks in advance. Patrons may have one device checked out or one reservation for a device at the same time.
- Chromebooks – a laptop that runs on the Google Chrome operating system. Provides access to the Internet and to the Google suite of online applications. A Google account is needed to make full use of the Chromebook. Patrons may create a free Google account at any time.
- T10 Mobile Hotspots (T-Mobile 4G service) – Provides Internet access in the T-Mobile coverage area and connects up to ten (10) devices.
- Home Use
- Borrow for four (4) weeks.
- Comes with an optional hotspot for wireless Internet service.
- In-Library Use
- Borrow for one (1) day in the library using the library’s free wi-fi service.
- Home Use: Borrow for four (4) weeks.
- Home Use Express: Borrow for two (2) weeks

At the Reference Desk at the Main Library in Pleasantville.
Borrowed devices must be returned to the Reference Desk and handed to a staff member. Never return a device in the book drop. There is a $10 per day charge for late returns. Service may be turned off for devices that are overdue.
Patron may be responsible for the entire cost of the Franklin T10 Mobile Hotspot and/or Chromebook if it is not returned.
